Book Title: Rev
Author: Cleo Plume
Don’t expect the bad boy to stick around.
Fast cars. Fast women.
That’s all I care about, and luckily I have plenty of both.
So why the hell am I so hung up on Winter Calloway?
She’s uptight, snobby, and prissy. And she dresses straight out of a J. Crew catalogue. Worst of all, she’s engaged to another man.
I should forget about her. But one night with her will never be enough.
Underneath that cardigan, her smokin’ hot curves match her saucy attitude.
I’ll do whatever it takes to make her all mine.
He’s the kind of a guy I always avoided.
He’s reckless, arrogant, and out of control.
Not to mention, I’m supposed to be getting married to the rich, stable man my mother always wanted for me.
So why am I drawn to the bad boy and blowing off my responsibilities?
Maybe it’s his cocky charm and chiseled body. His touch has me craving for more. He lives life a hundred miles an hour, and for the first time I’m excited to be alive.
I can’t help that I’m about to throw caution to the wind.

Winter goes to Vegas for her bachelorette party for wedding she doesn’t really want. She’s not sure if she loves the man she’s about to wed, but everyone seems to think it’s the right thing to do. After stopping by her fiance’s hotel room, she finds him in bed with anyone woman. She runs away to stay with her aunt, only to get lost on her way, where she meets Rev, a hot race car driver with a list of women he’s slept with longer than the tracks he races on. She immediately falls for him, not able to resist his charm and body.
Falling for a womanizer is easy, but figuring out if it’s the right thing is even harder.
I feel like the author didn’t explain well enough that Winter broke up with her fiance before sleeping with Rev. In the end, she calls her fiance to make sure that he knew that they were over for good, because he wasn’t accepting things. Still, it bugged me that she did that after she slept with, fell in love with, and got in a full blown relationship with another man before even contacting him. Sure her fiance was cheating on her and she knew she wasn’t going back to him, but it wasn’t clear that she actually broke up with him until after she was with Rev.
